BIC Liguria is a society at the Liguria Region in charge of the start up and development process of companies, considering the regional competences and working closely with local institutions.

BIC Liguria works in regard the regional development, the creation and consolidation of SMEs and the technical assistance for public administration through the management of the communal, national and regional funds.

Bic Liguria manages, on behalf of Invitalia SPA , the financial facilities provided by the D. Lgs. 185/2000 title II, to encourage the creation of new companies.

For many years, Bic Liguria has been over the territory with the business incubators centers of Genoa, Savona and La Spezia, and one information office at the Chamber of Commerce of Imperia.

Bic Liguria is accredited and certified by the Liguria Region as a training institution.

Bic Liguria is involved in the management and development of the projects:

-- UNI.T.I : It is a Project of Bic Liguria and the University of Genoa and it is the italian acronym of University Technology Transfer and Enterprise. It maintains an active policy regarding the startup of the spin-offs generated by the university research in order to contribute to the development of hi-tech companies.

- Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs : it is an international mobility program of the European Union.

- Incubator of High Technology and Innovation : It is a project of Bic Liguria and the Municipality of Genoa. The technological incubator is situated inside the Genoa-Campi incubator and develops the activities of innovative start ups following the industrial competences of the Genoese region to the ICT sector.
